Commission for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises
The Commission for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises advises the Director of DIN regarding the special needs of small and medium-sized enterprises in the context of standardization.
It gives strategic recommendations, e. g. concerning
- Terms and conditions for participating in standardization,
- Funding,
- Access to standardization results,
- Necessary influence on European and international developments with effects on German small and medium-sized enterprises, e. g. activities of DIN with regard to initiatives of the European Commission or other political entities,
- Adaptation to economic and societal changes and identification of relevant developments in time.
Furthermore, the commission encourages the interaction of the work of DIN with activities of other organizations and interest groups of small and medium-sized enterprises and can give advice to them.
